Welcome to SAF-T-POCKETS Patterns! Our company is built around the philosophy that you travel every time you
leave your home. The garments we design are for everyday travel as well as visits
to exotic places. These unique patterns are designed with secure pockets strategically
placed for your comfort and security, thus making carrying a purse unnecessary. Distributing
your essentials in pockets relieves shoulder strain and frees up your hands for better
things like holding someone's hand.
We continue to strive to create patterns for garments with good design plus the functionality
needed for our busy lives. You will look smashing while you are dashing with your valuables
safely tucked in pockets and your hands free. Our multi sized patterns fit sizes from XS

SAF-T-POCKETS Pattern Company was started in Portland, Oregon in 1991. Traveling
safe without the encumbrance of a handbag led to the creation of our patterns. Our
patterns focus on a safe way to dress with comfort and style. The company's vision is
to free women from lugging around a purse while letting them feel confident, knowing their
belongings are safely tucked away in hidden pockets.

Marsha McClintock has been a dressmaker, teacher and, for the past five
years, owner of
Sew Many Options Tours. Marsha has much experience in locating fabric and
notion resources which she has now incorporated into her fashion tours. She has
led groups to New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Paris, and Hong Kong. She has been
making and wearing SAF-T-POCKETS patterns for her trips and has found the two
companies are a natural combination.
Marsha is an active member in the Professional Association of Custom Clothiers, Oregon Chapter.
