In 2008, SAF-T-POCKETS will, once again, be offering a three-day sewing retreat in the fall. Pick one of
our patterns and join the fun. We want you to start enjoying our "fashions with function". Receive help
fitting your garment, see demos on construction details, try on samples and get inspired. Treat yourself
to one or both of our enjoyable Sew Inns held on the beautiful Oregon Coast.

The Spring 2008 Sew Inn will be held in Gleneden Beach, Oregon at the
Beachcomber's Haven. Sewing will be done in
the "Sand Box", a well-equipped sewing room with ocean views. We will have full run of the
four-plex so everyone will have their own twin or queen bed with some private rooms. There is also a lovely
hot tub with an ocean view.
SAF-T-POCKETS owner Marsha McClintock will guide you through the construction process
in a fun environment. This is your opportunity to create a wonderful SAF-T-POCKETS garment
while making new sewing friends.
We provide the location, all meals and a fun educational retreat. The Sew Inn will begin at 3:00pm on Thursday
afternoon and conclude on Sunday at 2:00pm. You will need to bring a sewing machine (several loaners are available),
notions and fabric.
The Fabric Tour will be held on the Monday after the Sew Inn. The tour starts at 9:00am. Marsha will pick
you up at the hotel and take you to many of Portland's outstanding fabric stores. Remember, Oregon has no sales tax!
If you are arriving early or staying late, we have made arrangements with a Portland hotel for rooms. The hotel
provides shuttles to and from the airport, plus a continental breakfast daily. Let us know and we will reserve
rooms for Wednesday or Sunday nights for you. If you are flying into Portland, you can rent a car or we can provide
transportation to the beach for up to 3 people.

date. If you want a private room, sign up early. If you are arriving early or staying late, please, let us
